Firstly communication is like fire, air and water. It belongs to the community.

Our next reason for using cut n paste when necessary are that in today's world why reinvent the wheel?

Usually there are vast amount of material on the net, that in an information revolution can easily be relied upon to quickly form a new article that does not necessarily need to be re written totally.

Sometimes it is news of the day. Sometimes it is a lyric or a poem etc.

That does not mean that the material sought is what the writer wants to say.

It has been brought to our attention by others - of being journalists that use cut n paste. Therefore not viable?

Yes we do use cut n paste 'sometimes' in fact a lot more than we do original material because the idea of using cut n paste is also a tool to unravel propaganda purported by corporate media. Articles that have just been reported and that have already been written. And also to be able to report in a shorter 'timeframe'. And because we don't get paid to be at the scene. It is easy to make it news of the day a lot quicker than if a person had to rewrite the lot. That means it can still make the 5pm news along side the views of corporate media.

Simple propaganda examples like for instance:

Digger/Soldier/Militant

Used to suggest soldiers are diggers and militants are the terrorists even though the militants/soldiers are defending their own patch in their own country and the diggers are soldiers/militants invading the sovereignty of another country for resources that don't belong to them.

However in a pre-emptive strike on a sovereign nation the real diggers are the victims and victim's kin burying their dead. People defending themselves in their own country are soldiers or diggers.

Digger returns home injured.
Soldier returns home injured.

Now if you want you can report it either way depending on whose side you're on or whether it was right or wrong?

Diggers killed 100 soldiers/victims.
Soldiers killed 100 soldiers/victims.

Diggers killed 100 militants/victims.
Soldiers killed 100 soldiers/victims.

Soldiers killed 100 soldiers/victims.
Militants killed 100 soldiers/victims.

The point is of course that diggers seem less violent and therefore more legitimate even though they might be in the wrong and might be killing people using lethal force.

So how do we prevent harm or attack lethal memes when these soldiers/militants are now diggers? I mean public opinion is not strong enough to change the paradigm here unless we describe what is really happening.

Defence Force/ War Force

How is that the 'Defence' Force, is committing a pre-emptive strike in and illegal and degrading war on a sovereign nation?

Another Example:

Mr Jones/Demon/Last name

Often it is reported all the way through a corporate article that Mr Jones a politician or alleged high class or standing person is Mr Jones. The other person in the article is demon/Last name so they get no Mr.

In that case though Mr Harper was referring to someone who is ignorant and who would put your down for cut n paste. Someone who would destruct you because they had no further knowledge or understanding about why you cut n paste. Or any further knowledge and understanding to know the difference and who refused to accept that cut n paste is a tool of the journalistic trade - the very reason we posted this genuine article - just so that others who may not understand can know why we do it.

We don't expect you to get that inside joke but there was a person who insulted us 'cause' he said we cut n run, I mean cut n past. We only cut n run if we're in a bit of a hurry though, especially trying to get the word out on time.

Corporate media won't report that because that's their secret weapon. Mr Howard said that Demon should be kept in jail with the worst of the worst offenders because Demon has been accused.

Why it is not reported that Howard said Mr Demon is a terrorist and that Mr Demon should be tried because Howard has accused Mr Demon of being a suspect terrorist is because Howard needs a scapegoat in the war on terror and he needs a head start.

Repeated many times over just gives the impression one person is better or worse than the other depending on which way you do it.

Therefore the person being tried is not really a person!!!

I mean when did that start? Why aren't we on equal terms here?

So you can see that people reading this material would take it more seriously against the accused because he's been denied his Mr. Even thought he's not even convicted of anything.

Sometimes the material is propaganda and has to be re written to include different facts, understanding and current knowledge. Or just simple respect for human dignity regardless of the accusations made against another.

Therefore going and getting it with some facts that others have taken the time to find and write about only needs additional material added to it to form a different view and to help change public opinion say for the marginalised or the disaffected etc.

There are many thousands of examples of course these are just a few.

There are as you know also straight out propaganda and lies written by corporate media that need to be unravelled and put into perspective.

Cut n Paste is also evidence of fact that backs up the article with a link or links to another article that is relevant or similar to the same case.

Whether they can yet be proven, or ever will be proven, the insights that spiritual teachings and models provide us are going to be of crucial importance as the old civilization fails around us. We should carry and use PPDs, to confuse Big Brother, and we should exchange ideas and understanding among ourselves. we are able to read a story and work this shit out for ourselves. We don't need you to copy and paste then search and replace every bloody article from the mainstream media.

Again, we don't need you to copy articles from the mainstream media just to change a few words.

What would be better is what you have done in this article - take extracts and explain how word usage constitutes corporate spin. But just constantly copying these articles to the wire, changing a few words, then having little explanation gets quite irritating.

But not as irritating as the constant stream of prejudice-driven garbage we are assailed with here at MIM.
