Herald Sun caught out lying
Well, if you hadn't had enough proof that the Corporate press tells outright lies, then this should do the trick. The following article comes from the Herald Sun website this afternoon providing a description of the Police attack at the Melbourne Museum on Sunday evening. Notice the description 'small scuffle' and 'minor injuries after she collapsed' (when was the last time an ambulance took someone to hospital for 'minor injuries'?). After reading this, then see the video and pictures of what took place (links below). Notice the large group of Police beating people lying on the ground, and the photo of someone semi or unconscious. Notice how it is also buried at the end of the article. Make up your own mind about the integrity of the journalists/editors involved in this piece of work.
Perhaps Rupert has been picking up a few pointers from the Chinese State media. He does seem to be quite cosy with them these days.
"About 4.30pm, riot police stopped about 50 protesters from entering the Melbourne Museum in Carlton. Protesters verbally taunted police and a small scuffle erupted.
When asked what her cause was, a woman spray-painting a banner said she was "not proud of being an Australian".
Another woman threatened a photographer with a flute.
Paramedics took a protester to St Vincent's Hospital with minor injuries after she collapsed."
